They focus on leadership, knowledge exchange, projects, training and advocacy. This is a research lead organization and have a focus of convincing world leaders that this is an epidemic, which requires action to be taken. Another concern of this organization is the marketing towards children in regard to food. The exposure of children to unhealthy foods and beverages has become a major focus of policy change (The StanMark project).

This is an international organization that is working to prevent childhood obesity on a global scale and has a focus on noncommunicable diseases like diabetes and cardiovascular diseases at a younger age.
